Yom HaZikaron & Yom HaAtzma’ut

These are the national holidays of Israel. Yom HaZikaron (Day of Remembrance) recalls Israelis who died in wars and terror attacks. Yom HaAtzma’ut celebrates the day in 1948 (Jewish year 5708) when Israel declared its independence.
